After a considerable distance a trail marker indicates the trail on the right goes to Northwest Branch Park. Continue straight on the present trail.

A trail intersects from the right coming from the horse stables. Continue straight on the present trail.

A narrower trail branches to the right. Turn right to follow the narrow trail. The trail marker should point toward the nature center.

The trail should follow a stream on the right.

The trail joins a loop trail from the nature center. Stay on the trail to the left.

The trail passes through an amphitheater after which it intersects with the nature center service road.
