The trail intersects with the Washington and Old Dominion bike trail. Continue along that trail.

Although the bike trail is shown here the horse trail that parallels it may be easier for walkers.

The trail crosses Town Center Pwy on a bridge. Notice the construction on the right during a recession.

After crossing the bridge turn left at the intersecting asphalt trail shown.

The path cuts through the trees as it climbs the hill.
