To return to the parking area cross the canal at the bridge in front of the tavern.

Turn left to follow the towpath with the canal on your left.

Stay on the towpath past the trail to the overlook until you come to the bridge. Cross the canal on the bridge.

After crossing the bridge turn right to follow the dirt road.
