The trail starts on the east side of the parking lot. Rt 193 will be on your left.

After a short distance a narrow trail intersects from the left. This trail leads to the Old Carriage Road.

This is a view of the trail leading to the Old Carriage Rd. If you don't look closely for it you won't see it. Stay straight on the Difficult Run Trail which is quite visible here.

The trail goes under Rt 193.

After passing under the bridge take the trail to the left up the bank.

The trail connects to a wide trail for use by park service vehicles.
