A dirt trail intersects from the right. Continue straight on the present trail.

Turn left at the next trail intersection. There should be a sign there and you will be following the 'Gooseneck Loop'

After a short distance the trail crosses a narrow stream. There is no bridge here.

Go straight at the next trail intersection. The 'Gooseneck Loop' turn right here and you will be headed toward 'Hawk Ridge' according to the sign here.

The trail intersects with the Cabin John trail. Turn left to follow that trail. Notice the blue blazes on the trees.

A trail intersects from the left. Continue on the present trail as it curves to the right and goes down a hill.
