Turn left at the intersecting trail. You are now on the Cross County Trail.

The trail passes through the woods and crosses over Accotink Creek.

The trail turns slightly to the right as it follows Accotink Creek on the left.

At the next trail intersection go straight if you wish to continue on the Lake Accotink section of the trail. Otherwise, turn right onto the intersecting trail to complete this section of the trail.

The trail crosses a bridge over a stream and goes under Braddock Rd. shortly thereafter.

After crossing under Braddock Rd. the trail crosses a side stream.

After passing under Braddock Rd. the trail turns right for a few feet, then turns left to leave that road.

At the trail intersection turn right to pass under Braddock Rd.
