Connects sidewalks on Mares Neck Lane to sidewalks on West Ox Road and New Parkland Dr. It also provides a connection to an asphalt trail on the south side of West Ox Road at a traffic light at McLearen Rd. Currently it is necessary to walk through brush on the north side of West Ox Rd. to reach an existing sidewalk. There is a ditch between Mares Neck Lane and the asphalt trail on the south side of West Ox Road making it difficult to cross.

Provides a safe route for the children on Mares Neck Lane to reach the local swim club and access the many sidewalks in the area.
