These are members of the Great Falls fire department waiting for other crew members to do a pracitce run on the Potomac.

This is one of the rafts used to perform rescues. The team has perfromed numerous rescues of people that fall into the river here.

Turn right at the first intersecting trail after leaving the clearing.

The trail crosses a bridge over a stream and turns left.

The trail to the left connects to the river trail. Take the trail to the right.
